Get to know the MINERS Application

 

The rapid development of technology from the influence of globalization has caused rapid changes in various fields. Information technology in this case is one of the pillars of success in the era of globalization that has brought fundamental changes to the data processing process, namely from the manual process to the Batch Processing process.

With better computer support, the data processing process has begun to move into an on-line data processing system. The use of technology within the company will support the company's activities, namely:

1) increase productivity,

2) reduce operating costs,

3) improve decision making,

4) improve relationship with customers,

5) develop new strategy applications.

This has also been done by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in order to anticipate the effects of globalization by building an information system for reporting on technical and environmental aspects of companies, both periodically and specifically.

Information system named Minerba Integrated Engineering and Environmental Reporting System (MINERS) is an information system that has an integrated concept (integrated) with existing applications at the Directorate General of Mineral and Coal, namely Minerba One Map Indonesia (MOMI), Minerba One Data Indonesia (MODI), Information System Environmental Management (SIM Environment), Safety Management Information System Mining (SIMKP) and Mining Technical Aspect Information System (SIASEP). So that there is no data input redundancy and can immediately display the required reports, as well as providing quality information system services that can present information numerical and spatial, to support the implementation of monitoring of mining activities especially the Technical and Environmental Aspects as well as to improve operational performance Government.

The objectives of the development of this information and reporting system include: facilitate the acquisition of surveillance data from all mining companies and other relevant agencies, speed up the reporting recapitulation process, simplify follow-up monitoring of the results of supervision and reporting. MINERS involve several users such as Business Entities/Companies Holding IUPs, Provincial Office, Admin for each Sub-Directorate, Admin Miners, Head of Mining Engineering (KTT), and the Mining Inspectorate (IT). MIINERS is an information system that includes sub-systems:

- Environmental Aspects Module.

- Mining Safety Aspects Module.

- Conservation Aspects Module.

- Standardization and Service Business Aspects Module.

- Engineering Aspect Module.

- Profile module (block, summit, commodity)
